These boys carry their own reputation with them. Depending on the guy, some of these things may be true. However, there are many perks of being involved with a fraternity boy.
The most I was involved with Greek life occurred on random Saturday nights when my friends and I would innocently stroll into a frat party, where we were greeted with kegs and jungle juice. The frat guys seemed like total tools, and the sorority girls looked like wannabe Urban Outfitter models. I had a lot of assumptions about frats, sororities, and Greek life as a whole.
A lot of reasons to join a sorority one being social life. It's an entrance into frat parties and mixers. That being saidsaid, how easy is it for GDI Girls to get into parties.
On a campus of almost 50, about 10 percent of the student population take part in Greek life. So what about the other 90 percent? What about the kids that wouldn't be caught dead wearing letters and have no affiliation with the chapters that we, as members of Greek life, are so fond of? Well, these students are God Damn Independents, and proud of it.
Hey everyone, I'm currently a GDI as the greek's refer to me asbut I'm thinking of rushing next fall. Anyways, my bf just joined a fraternity and apparently all of his brothers are giving him crap about dating a GDI. We've been dating for almost 2 years, but I just don't see why a greek dating a GDI is taboo.
